BIAW - Day Three

Another quickie post. I haven't giving myself any more than five minutes to do them in the morning because I want to stretch out my writing time as long as possible. I was nearly late to work yesterday. I pulled into the parking lot at 9 AM sharp. Whoops...

I didn't get as much done as far as word count went today -- 2,000 total, but I felt like I got some really good stuff as far as character development and plot set up, so it balanced out. I'm at 7,000 words total for the week so far. A nice chunk of change. I also discovered my heroine worked in a tea shop. Who knew.

Yesterday at lunch I worked out the astrology of my characters. Turns out both have Aries rising signs which should spice things up a bit with some rash behavior undermining their usually cautious earth signs. Nothing like a little rash behavior to spice things up.

Outside of writing, things have been really busy at work and with my sister's wedding. I'm in charge of making the CDs for the reception and that's been taking up my evenings. Plus I have a stack of books I need to read in three weeks to get back to the library on time. On Thursday I have to help my sister move her things out of storage and into the boathouse. They're renovating their house. A wedding, house renovations, a 7 month baby and another on the way. Hmm...and I thought I took on too much.
