Holy Page Count, Batman

Wow, I must have been in the zone this morning. I finally finished my outline yesterday and got back to writing this morning. Usually I get 5 - 6 pages done in my two hours, but today I zipped off 9. I love those scenes that practically write themselves. Although I can't see how I'm not going to go over my page count before I finish this thing. Sigh...I really need to be less verbose.

I've also started working on my educational session for our next chapter meeting, "How to Revise Your Manuscript Without Using a Blow Torch". I'm still having a bit of difficulty wrapping my head around how I want to present this, but for now I'm just gathering lots of info and hoping once I have it all I'll figure something out.

And movie news! This Friday some of my goals loop pals and I are descending upon the local theatre. Beowulf and Grendel opens this Friday. I've been saving the gift certificate I got for my birthday back in January to go to this movie. I wasn't taking any changes on not having the cash available. I can't wait. There's nothing like a Gerard Butler fix to start the weekend off right. Well, maybe a Christian Bale fix, but Gerry's a very, very close second.

Yay you on that page count!! And yeah, it's great when the prose just flows from fingers to cpu.

Re: B&G movie. I'm waiting till Sean gets home - I know he's going to want to see it too :-) Have fun. And yep - a GB fix is pretty close to a CB one *g*.

Hmm...the post so nice, you made it twice? ;)

Congrats on the writing, though!

Yeah not sure what happened with the double post. Just a little trigger happy on the GB maybe...

Woohoo! I still want to go see this -- even if I'm not in the goals group anymore! He'd better be shirtless for some of it ...
