Disappearing Wordage

Talk about going bass-ackwards. I ended up with a lower word count than what I started with today. Which sounds bad, but actually turned out rather good. I went back in and fixed up the scenes I was working on yesterday, combined two into one and then took another one and made it happen after rather than before, then cut out another one entirely, hence the lower word count. But now I'm perfectly set up to flow into what I had originally written before, which should help things move along a lot smoother. I feel like I'm back on track now.

Now if I could just shake this cold I'd be all set. I considered taking a sick day today and resting up because I feel like I'm seriously starting to drag my butt, but I'll give it one more day and see if I can make it through the week. I've been sleeping really well lately, probably helped along by the Neo Citrin, but I still feel like I need a good solid day of rest to shake this thing. Worst of it is, is that it isn't one of those really bad colds, it's just that it's been hovering for about two weeks now without really landing and it's starting to wear me out. I feel like yelling 'make a decision already!'

Anyhoo, despite the stupid cold, I feel better about the writing and am breathing a big sigh of relief that I'm back on track. Now to just stay there and meet the December 2nd deadline for the GH...

Kelly - funny how things work out. Glad you're solidly back on track with the ms. And hope you feel all better soon :-)

Cold season has officially begun! I had one two weeks ago (and it's still hanging on) and my daughter is in the midst of one. Hubby just called and he's starting to come down with one, too.

Drink lots of OJ and rest this weekend!!!
