An End In Sight

I'm getting there. Little by little, I am getting to the end of the manuscript. I have hit the midway point now. The major revisions were in the first half of the manuscript and they are now out of the way. Finally I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it is not an oncoming train. Whew. I might make this deadline after all.

Guitar lessons ended this week. I am not ready to leave the day job and run off and be a rockstar, but I know enough know that I can make some progress on my own. I'd like to take a more advance session of lessons, but I'll see what I can learn on my own first and then look at doing that later in the year. I have enough on my plate at the moment.

I have signed up for an intuitive development course which I think I mentioned. I have two classes down and two to go. It's an incredibly interesting course and last night's class was centred around auras and how to see them. I discovered the difference between the ground aura you're born with and the mood auras that surround you. Turns out my grounding aura is indigo, which is one of my favorite colors, and is represented by the number 6. Indigo represents healing, intuition and spirituality. The number 6 represents creative and artistic energy. Not bad. Next week we are doing a past life regression. I've done one of these before and they're quite amazing. I'm looking forward to it.

The clocks go back this weekend...or ahead...crap I can never figure it out. Either way, it means more daylight in the evening which means - yay! - I can start my walks in the evenings again. I can't wait. I've squeezed in a few on days where the weather cooperated and I managed to get home from work on time and didn't have something else going on. It feels so good to just get out and walk my 5K loop, to just let my brain go and enjoy the fresh air. I hate those 4 months where I'm cooped up inside with my workouts. Walking outside is one of the best workouts I do and yet it doesn't feel like work. I find myself craving it by the end of the work day.

And so that's where things are standing so far this week. Hope everyone else is doing great!

Yay on the revisions and nearing the end of them. I'm sure you'll be happy when it's all sent off.

That class sounds great. I'm definitely interested in hearing more about the past life regression thing.

And just remember: Fall back, Spring forward. That's the only way I remember.

That always screws me up because when I fall, I'm generally falling forward, not backward. And when I spring it's usually because something startled me so I'm spring backwards. I'm all discombobulated.

It sure didn't feel like spring here today - we got snow dumped on us. So I hope it's all gone by March 20 when spring officially begins. I'm looking forward to longer evenings, too!

Spring forward, fall back! That means we lose an hour of sleep but I'm okay with that if summer's around the corner!

Yes, lighter in the evenings! Won't that be nice!

Glad the book is going well for you.

Wow, you sound busy, but happy :) WTG on the ms!

And yeah, DLT is good for us too - means Sean gets home from work in the light and can BBQ for dinner, though, of course, it's supposed to rain all week. But that's still waaaaaaay better than 52 cm of snow!
