Thespian!

Okay, maybe not. This weekend the docu-crew descend upon Halifax (along with all the Juno madness which I am sadly going to miss) to do their final bit of filming for my part in the process. We have two full days planned for Sunday and Monday, including my chapter meeting and presentation for the educational session on Revision, a subject I am so familiar with you would have thought pulling the thing together would have been easy. Not so much, but I learned a lot as I did it and can't wait to try out the techniques on The Outlaw Bride before I send it out into the big, bad world.

I'm not nervous about them filming the chapter meeting or my presentation, but for some reason the idea of lurking about Chapters while they film me has me a little wigged out. I think the idea of people gawking while I'm trying to answer questions leaves me a bit out of sorts. I'll try not to grab a book off a shelf and biff it at them though.

They also want me to read an excerpt from one of my books, which I haven't gotten anywhere near to picking out yet. I put the kibosh on reading a sex scene, but told them I would look at doing a scene that builds the sexual/romantic tension between the characters. Somehow the idea of reading a sex scene knowing my parents were going to be watching this, reached a level of creep I wasn't prepared to indulge in.

So it looks as though I have a busy weekend ahead of me. Hope you all have a good one!

Have fun with Joanna and Christine :-) Wish I could be at your chapter meeting - I always love to hear about revision techniques.

LOL re not wanting to read a sex scene for the camera. I don't think many of us would want to do it, knowing our parents might see it *g*.
