The Dress

This is the dress I chose to wear for my younger sister's wedding this September. As maid of honor, she let us pick out the style we wanted so long as they came in the same color (she's going for an apple theme and wanted the dresses in an apple green). The color in the picture looks more yellow, but my sister said it closely matched the swatch she had. I was kind of hoping me and the matron of honor would go for different styles, but turns out she liked the one I picked and she's going for that one too. Maybe I'll try some individuality with the shoes. Because really, isn't it all about the shoes?

Anyway, I love the cut of the dress, and it gives yet further incentive to work hard at working out so I can look fabulous in it. I have to order it by April because it takes 12 weeks to come in and alternations will be needed, especially if I continue to lose some weight, and of course it'll have to be adjusted to my height.

I didn't do any writing today. I started to and realized I had changed some things, removed some, added others and so I needed to sit down and revamp what I still needed to happen within the 130 pages I have left to make sure everything gels together. So that's what I'm going to do now, hence the earlier than normal blog post. I'm going to take this show on the road and move it upstairs to the couch with my notebook.
