Put Me In Coach

Nothing of any great import to discuss today. My inertia faded away and I went to the first softball practice of the year this morning. Lots of fun. Got home and managed to edit 3 chapters...just two to go. We'll see how the evening unfolds. Grey's Anatomy is on tonight and I need my Dr McDreamy fix. Hot guy apparently trumps writing. Who knew?

Took an intelligence Quiz (thanks Tess!):

http://www.blogthings.com/intelligencequiz.html

Your Dominant Intelligence is Linguistic Intelligence
You are excellent with words and language. You explain yourself well.An elegant speaker, you can converse well with anyone on the fly.You are also good at remembering information and convicing someone of your point of view.A master of creative phrasing and unique words, you enjoy expanding your vocabulary. You would make a fantastic poet, journalist, writer, teacher, lawyer, politician, or translator.

Hmmm....go figure

When I read 'put me in coach' I was thinking coach as in on a plane and I couldn't figure out what baseball had to do with it.

Yes, well based on my aching shoulder and back muscles this morning, I kind of wish I had been sitting in coach and not on the ball field. Which is saying something, because you know how much I hate to fly...

since when?

Uh...since forever. You've been on a plane with me enough times, you should know this. God knows I've said it enough times. Granted, I love to travel, so my fear/intense hate of flying is not enough to keep me grounded, but I guarantee you, if I could get where I wanted by any other mode of travel just as quickly, I would never step foot inside another plane again.

Actually this is news to me. I didn't realize you didn't like to fly. I don't think anyone likes the actual 'flying process', but if you love to go places it's a necessary evil.

I thought referring to the plane as the hurtling steel trap of death was a giveaway.

eh, everybody calls it that

Hey Kelly, I took the quiz too, and got word for word what you did! Shocking, since we're very different. You being all organized and hard working and stuff... and me being a flake and all. I wonder if everyone gets the same thing....

I'm guessing if you answered the key creative questions correctly, you are then allowed into that specialized group. :-)
