I refused to go any further today until my hero had a name. I couldn't keep referring to him as HERO Mackenzie or Whats-his-face any longer. It was driving me crazy. Which granted is a short trip on a good day, but still...
Anyway, the man's name is Logan. I printed off a collage of pictures of the hero and my name list, sat on my couch and went through each name seeing if it matched the face. I narrowed it down to about seven but kept coming back to Logan. It's the only one that felt right. Finally...whew. I feel better now.
Once that was done, I started charting Logan's growth and plotting ideas based on his core belief and what he needed to learn. I came up with some new stuff but realized I really needed to chart things out in sequence to make sure it all made sense. I'll try to do that this weekend. I have a long weekend because of Remembrance Day and our office being closed on Monday. Maxx and I have a full weekend planned of Christmas crafting (and I'm going to attempt to make truffles for the first time...) but I should be able to squeeze in a little time for plotting and charting.
Then I have to work on Lucy and figure her issues out. Hopefully that won't take too long. I feel like I haven't written anything new in so long I'm getting antsy. I just want to write the story!
Oh well. All in good time. Hey, at least my hero has a name. That's progress.

Yay!!!!! Logan is a good name for a hero.
Truffles are pretty easy, and never fail to impress the heck out of people. Plus, you can make them a ton of different ways. If you need some recipes, let me know.
Logan is good.I like Logan.
That is great news Kelly! It must feel great to be able to move forward again.
I like the name Logan. :-)
Great name, Kelly. I like it!! Have fun with truffles. Mmmmmmm, truffles.
Woohoo! Congratulations to you and Logan!
Logan is definitely a good name.
Have fun truffling!
*snort* Logan is the name of one of my heroines! LOL
Actually, it's a great name - Logan Mackenzie sounds like just the type of guy I'd like to have around. It's a strong name.
I have a difficult time writing if I don't have their names.
Logan, huh? Does he have adamantium claws? *G*
(hee, couldn't resist - didn't try, really, but I know I wouldn't have been able to, so why bother trying?)
And how sad is it that I never made that connection til now?
Tsk tsk...thanks to some online friends, it was the first thing I thought of.
Oddly enough, I just thought of the other comic character with Logan as a name...and he's from a fandom I've followed more closely than X-Men. Tsk tsk to me.
