Here Comes The Bride

First draft and revisions of the contemporary chapter are done. I'm going to set it aside for a day and then go back and read over the changes I made to make sure it all gels. Not sure if the opening is as exciting as I want it. But now all that is left to tackle are any clean-up/revisions and the synopsis.

This will probably be my last post for the week. Tomorrow morning my brother, sister, BIL and myself are off to the justice of the peace for what my sister refers to as the 'paperwork ceremony'. My brother is performing the service, but since Nova Scotia apparently has some fairly strict laws about people getting ordained over the internet, my brother can't do a legally binding ceremony. So we'll do the paperwork/JP thing tomorrow and then the actual wedding ceremony with my brother officiating on Saturday.

Friday afternoon we're decorating the reception hall. Since we're not having a rehearsal dinner, my sister is taking her MofHs to dinner--Boston Pizza (yummy and low key) as a thanks for helping out with the decorating. Then we go back for the final run through rehearsal. So far the weather is calling for sunshine and warm (but not hot) temperatures for Saturday, so the outdoor wedding looks good.

I've figured out the basics of my digital camera, so I'll take that with me and try to get some shots to post on Monday. Still haven't figured out the downloading to the computer part yet, but there's an instruction booklet so I should be able to manage.

Hope everyone has a good long weekend, and since I'll be off for a few days I did a double post and updated the Fab at Forty blog.

Enjoy the wedding, Kelly - I LOVE weddings :-) And downloading from most cameras is pretty easy these days.
