When Lightning Strikes

I met with one of my critique partners last night at Starbucks. Pam and I have critiqued each others' work before and work really well together, so I was excited to start a 3 person critique group with her and our other friend Julia (who was busy with choir last night and couldn't make it). Pam and I originally planned to use last night to figure out how we wanted to work things as a group, but then we got talking about the series we are each working on and ideas started shooting back and forth and the next thing you know, she's adding elements to her second book, I'm plotting out Book 4 and the creativity is just crackling like lightning looking for a place to strike. By the time they closed the doors to the coffee shop and we had to leave, we both walked away with a sense of accomplishment and what I think will be signs of things to come. Once we throw Julia into the mix things will only get better. I think this will be a very successful and ultimately profitable venture...

Let's not brainstorm anywhere out of doors, near a tree or anything remotely similar...
