I found this book at the library in hard cover. It was amazing. Lots of photos and details. For anyone who writes historical novels and doesn’t have the opportunity to go traipsing about an English Country House to be able to describe it in your writing, this may well be the next best thing.
The copy I had borrowed from the library was missing a bunch of pages, so I thought I would go on line and see if I could find a used copy. I was amazed to discover a soft cover copy on www.amazon.ca for only $5.61 Canadian. The shipping cost more than the book itself. At that price, I couldn’t say no. So for a whopping total of $12.10 the book should be delivered the first half of April.
Sure, I’d rather take a month or six off and go stay in one of the English Country Houses, but until such time as I can convince the Brits to allow me to join the next Regency House Party, this book will help me make due.

Ooohhhh I like that one! I'm adding that to my list.
I would LOVE to hang at the House Party man. Long as Captain what's-his-butt is there I am SO there. Although I really hope my 'little friend' didn't come for a visit while I was there. *shudder*
I got the book yesterday. In fact, it arrived before I could get noticed that it had shipped. Love it, definitely glad I ordered it.
xtWow! That was fast!
