Stuck

Just a short post. I'm stuck on a scene so I've decided to print off what I have and go upstairs to try and work it out longhand to see if that helps any. I keep repeating certain things and not fitting in others that I need to move onto the next scene, but scrolling up and down on the computer screen only seems to confuse the matter, so I'm going low tech. Hope everyone has a good writing day. Here's something to good to look at in the meantime. I love Simon Baker. Seriously, could you not jut eat him up?

Update
Okay, I think I figured out the problem. I was too married to the draft of this scene I had written a while ago. I think I am going to have to totally deconstruct it, break it down into pieces, then reconstruct it from scratch and not worry about whether or not I have to leave behind or drastically change what I had originally written, no matter how much I liked it.

I'm having trouble with a couple of my scenes, as well. I tried to sit down at the computer and just freewrite some ideas, but then I got too darn tired and went to bed. :-)

Glad you made it through!

Good luck with the longhand scene! I usually print my stuff out ARC-style when I need to read a lot at once.
