Not a Happy Camper

I just heard last night that my favorite tv show is being cancelled after this season. Yes, Alias will be no more. Please, let's observe a moment of silence whilst I weep in despair.

Sure, sure, I know that this season hasn't been that great so far, and that the whole pregnancy thing threw a bit of a wrench in the kick butt action that is a staple for the show. And yes, killing off Vaughan (who I still don't think is really dead) was a bad move in my opinion. And I know, JJ Abrams seems to have forgotten Alias in favor of Lost (my second favorite show, so let's see if we can't keep that one on for a while...) and his director duties of Mission Impossible 3 (can we maybe kill off Ethan Hunt in this one?) - but still! Sark is coming back - isn't that reason enough to keep the show going at least another year? And even when it isn't as great as it could be it's still better when held up in comparison to so many others out there that manage to stay on the air!

It's a travesty, I say, a travesty!

First Nikita, then Buffy. Now Sydney. Just what am I supposed to watch now to get my weekly dose of chicks kicking butt?!

Oh the inhumanity...

You can watch great shows like According to Jim and the Knot's Landing reunion show. And Nikki's favorite, Yes, Dear.

Now, don't you feel better?

O.k. I'm sure you don't want to hear this but "Charmed" is still on and they kick butt!!!!!

Sometimes I'm really glad I don't watch t.v. because then I don't have to endure the angst of them canceling my favorite show. They did that with Homefront - a show about life after WWII in America. I LOVED that show. And they canceled it after two years! GRRR. I was so mad.

I'm surprised they canceled Alias. I thought it would last quite a lot longer.

I used to LOVE Homefront! That was such a great show. I had a huge crush on Kyle Chandler.

Did they cancel Alias or did they just decide to stop making it? I heard Jennifer was leaving after this year.

Last year was not so good till the end, and I've only seen 3 episodes this year. I think it's run its course.

I imagine Jennifer Garner nixed it, and that's the reason for the cancellation. Bummer.

But we still have "Lost!"
