The Worker Bee

Things have really picked up at work. Someone in my department was let go and my boss and I have picked up her slack for the most part and we've taken on her work. Or as my boss likes to say, 'when I say we, I mostly mean you'. So between that and two other projects I've taken on, I've been pretty busy with very little time to check in and see how everyone's doing. Added to that is the fact that I've decided to write longhand this week just to try and get back into the flow of things. It seems to be working. So I may miss a day of posting here and there, but don't worry-- I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. Not completely. I'm taking this Friday off which gives me a four day weekend and I'm hoping to get a good chunk of writing done so I can meet my May 31st deadline. I find it hard to believe, but I'm actually looking forward to sinking my teeth back into Outlaw Bride and doing my revisions. I've also been coming up with some great ideas and premise for the paranormal I have kicking around in my head. Not sure when I'll be writing that, maybe I'll keep it as a side project to work on here and there. We'll see.

So what is everyone else up to?

Working, editing the novel, and losing sleep. :)

When we had a co-worker leave, we had to do the same thing - instead of hiring someone to replace her, we just divided her duties amongst the rest of us. Not a good thing when you're already busy with your own duties!

Hugs on all the extra work! Not fun at all.

I'm still slogging through the middle of this book...
